Trading bid
A trading bid is the price at which a buyer is willing to purchase a financial asset, such as a currency or a stock, in the financial markets. It is one of the two components of a trading quote, along with the ask price, which is the price at which a seller is willing to sell the asset. The difference between the bid and ask price is called the bid-ask spread, which represents the transaction cost for executing a trade. Trading bids are constantly changing as market conditions and supply and demand factors shift, and they are an important indicator of market sentiment and pricing dynamics.
