Realised Profit / Loss
Realised profit/loss is the actual profit or loss incurred on a trade or investment once it has been closed out or realized. It is the difference between the buying price and the selling price of a financial asset. For example, if an investor bought a stock at $50 and then sold it at $60, the realized profit would be $10. Similarly, if the investor sold the stock at $40, the realized loss would be $10. Realized profit/loss is different from unrealized profit/loss, which is the profit or loss on an open trade or investment that has not yet been closed out.
