Real money
In forex, the term “real money” typically refers to funds that are managed by institutional investors, such as pension funds, mutual funds, and hedge funds. These funds are often referred to as “real money” because they represent actual investments made by real clients, as opposed to speculative investments made by traders who are trading with their own funds. Real money investors tend to have a longer-term investment horizon and may use a variety of strategies to manage risk and generate returns, including currency hedging, diversification, and asset allocation.
