Rally
In forex, a rally refers to a period of sustained upward movement in the price of a currency pair. It is typically characterized by a series of higher highs and higher lows and may be driven by a variety of factors, including strong economic data, positive news announcements, or market sentiment. A rally can provide trading opportunities for traders who are able to identify the underlying causes of the upward trend and enter long positions in the currency pair. However, rallies can also be short-lived and may be followed by periods of consolidation or even a reversal in price.
