Commodity Currencies
Commodity currencies are currencies of countries that are major producers and exporters of commodities such as metals, oil, and agriculture. The three most commonly referred to commodity currencies are the Australian dollar (AUD), the Canadian dollar (CAD), and the New Zealand dollar (NZD). The value of these currencies is often closely tied to the prices of the commodities they produce and export. Traders who want to invest in commodity markets often use these currencies to do so, as changes in the price of commodities can have a direct impact on the value of these currencies.
